About Us

Avanti Corporation is a small Native-American woman-owned business that has been supporting federal and state environmental programs since 1990. Our staff of engineers, scientists, analysts, and systems developers provide customized solutions for today’s environmental protection and data management needs.

Currently, Avanti staff are located in our Alexandria, Virginia office and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Avanti successfully graduated from the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program in 2014.

Avanti currently holds the following certifications:

A message from the CEO

As a child, trash on the sides of the road bothered me. I believed one day I would clean up all of the litter wherever it occurred. I now have a more realistic view of my ability to clean this planet on my own, but I still get out of my car at stop lights to pick up trash.

One of my driving beliefs is that everything is connected to the Earth and the wellbeing of our planet in some way. Our health, daily activities, ability to thrive, and happiness depend on a healthy planet. I firmly believe that there is a way to have progress and still protect resources - we just have to find the right solutions and the right balance.

At Avanti we are working to solve the environmental challenges that affect out lives and our planet. Our analyses support state and federal programs that promote pollution prevention, waste reduction, and sound environmental policies. Our data management provides insights on trends, priorities, and successes. Our environmental assessments ensure that industry can move forward in a manner that protects our natural resources.
